This book Rethinking Patient Safety, is both thought provoking and inspirational. Suzette describes how we need to shift the culture in healthcare, how we need rethink and redesign the current approach to safety in healthcare, and provides evidence and methodology how to achieve this. It is simple to say we must learn from mistakes, yet surprisingly difficult to achieve. The book describes the importance of kindness, relationships, talking and listening as being at the heart of patient care and patient safety, the book describes the approach to take patient safety into the future.
